Buttons - 1.25.14

ADOPTED! - What an affectionate girl! She has a beautiful, silky fur coat that you'll want pet all day. Buttons is very people-motivated and very gentle.

Pepper - 1.25.14

Pepper is a polite lady who sat patiently in her kennel waiting for us to let her out, and used the outdoor facilities as soon as they were available. She does know a few dance steps if you whistle the right tune. She appreciates treats and tennis balls. — at Manatee County Animal Services.

Chief- 1.25.14

::::Adopted or Transferred::::Chief is not quite 'poetry in motion'...as he is still trying to grow into his ears and paws. Chief is more than just 'handsome good looks', he walks well on his leash, plays ball, and sincerely wants to hear how your day was.

Penny - 1.25.14

Transferred to Dogs on the move! ..Penny is a gentle soul who lights up at a kind smile. As the saying goes, still waters run deep, Penny embodies 'still waters'. She doesn't ask for much, just your love.

Mallory - 1.25.14

:::UPDATE::::In Foster care on behalf of Forgot Me Not. She was a very calm model, and strutted right to my backdrop and struck this pose! She was the only dog that seemed to know exactly what the backdrop was for and was totally working it;-)

Shamous - 1.25.14

Transferred to Humane Society of Manatee County.

Penelope - 1.25.14

Penelope is sweet & gentle. She walks well & will take all the loving you want to give. She'll steal your heart. Good with other dogs- her scars are from abuse/neglect. -at Manatee County Animal Services

Hector - 1.25.14

Hector- ADOPTED!! -Hector walks well, knows sit, and loves to have his tummy rubbed.

Midnight - 12.28.13

Meet Midnight! She's easily trained and very treat-motivated. Beautiful girl! Belgian Malinois, and the staff thinks she's about a year old. She was adopted from Manatee County Animal Services only a few days after these photos were taken.

Scout - 12.28.13

Scout was transferred to Hooves, Paws and Claws Animal Sanctuary of Florida Inc. This is Scout! He's a real lover, he gave me 3 kisses. He's very people-motivated and just wants to be with you.

Sable - 12.28.13

This big boy is Sable, and he is very playful and affectionate. He has a wonderful, very happy personality. He does not seem to have been abused or neglected. Likes to play. He is still available for adoption at Manatee County Animal Services.

Kane - 12.28.13

This is Kane, a German Shepherd mix that the staff thinks is about 2 years old. He really enjoys other dogs and wags his tail at them. His eyes are stunning and tell stories. This boy has seen a lot and is an old spirit. He enjoyed being petted, but wasn't interested in toys at the time. He is still available for adoption at Manatee County Animal Services.

Kristin - 11.23.13

Kristin was so calm, and would look at me so knowingly, as if she'd seen it all. Shortly after I photographed her, she went into foster care to deliver her 9 puppies!

Sandi - 11.23.13

Sandi is very playful and loves playing frisbee. She was adopted from Manatee County Animal Services.

Larry

Larry was a lot of fun and loved fetching tennis balls. Larry was transferred to the Humane Society of Manatee County where he met his forever family!

Trixie - Benji

It was a pleasure to meet Trixie at Manatee County Animal Services. He enjoyed being held, and was very sweet. He loved getting his picture taken and being outside. Shortly after I met Trixie, he was transferred to the Humane Society of Manatee County where he met his forever family!
